Torrox Costa is situated in the eastern of the Costa del Sol, 45 km from Málaga in the Axarquía. Most of the tourists are speaking german. So it depends on you if you like Torrox in this matter. No doubt, as a German you have no problems and will find everything very quick. Nearly every Restaurant offers German Gastronomy. But you will also find a lots of Restaurants with English Gastronomy and english speaking.

"We speak German" and that is easy for those of the German who have no interest to study spanish, and they did find a part of their home. The 9km long beach with the Paseo Marítimo de Ferrara ( Foto above ) and the Restaurants are well and everything is new and modern. Congratulation Torrox for the results during the last years. There are still old apartment-buildings existing, but that is not important.

Torrox Pueblo, the wonderful white village will spell the visitor, it is really an object of interest. This stunning view over the village to the sea is a rareness.

The city centre with e.g. the "Plaza de la Constitución" and the "Plaza Hoya" offers special Bistros, Locals and Restaurants. The prices are cheap in comparison to the western part of the coast, and also the quality is mostly good, ( except the Fast Food-kiosks ). Also here in the village they speak german, partly english.

 

Those who love the campo, the mountains, the fields, the greenhouses and the beach will find out a lots of worthwhile things. And those who are not interested in every day sunbathes can explore the Axarquía. Holiday with children no problem, you will find everything you need.
